Water [ripples with child and pelicans]: Digital Composition 2022no.26 is a sequence of image files developed from four stock photos into layers of patterned forms. The images are composed into two thematic statements areas of which interact and evolve into a tracery design arrayed against a composite background of both statements together. The composition as a whole unfolds in three sections subtitled depiction, development and denouement. At all points, the layers, forms and images follow an underlying grid structure keyed to the overall format.
