Key [essential alignment]: Digital Composition 2022no.14 is a sequence of image files developed from two stock photos into layers of abstract patterned forms and then into an extended tracery design. The layers of pattern and form follow an underlying grid structure keyed to the overall format. 
The quote is from Antoine de Saint-Exupery's Le Petit Prince, ch. 21 (1943): "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
